George Arnold, SENIOR Advisor
Mr. Arnold is currently Managing Principal at Knightsbridge, an early stage fund of funds.
From 2004 until recently, Mr. Arnold was director and head of Venture/Growth Equity fund investments for Citigroup Private Equity.
From 1998 to 2003, Mr. Arnold invested directly in private technology companies alongside venture investors on behalf of Citigroup, serving as a director or observer on the board of many companies including Insurance.com, ConvergeNet (acquired by Dell), Guardent (acquired by VeriSign), Mobile365 (acquired by Sybase), and Openwave (fka Unwired Planet and Phone.com). Mr. Arnold spent his first year at Citigroup working in the Business Strategy Development and M&A Group and worked on a majority stake acquisition of a European bank.
From 1993 to 1998, Mr. Arnold gained product and business development experience at Anritsu/Wiltron, a Silicon Valley-based high-tech company. His projects included a new measurement test system for metallic access subscriber line testing, which he successfully introduced and supported at various customer locations.
Mr. Arnold holds a patent in the area of metallic access subscriber line testing. He received an MSEE from Stanford University, an MBA from Santa Clara University, and a BSEE from the Swiss Institute of Technology. Mr. Arnold is also a Swiss Army officer with extensive leadership training and experience.
