Mr. Rosenfield’s career spans across several media, including television, satellite, teletext, Internet and interactive television, and in each he played a major role in shaping the medium and its commercial applications.

Mr. Rosenfield is currently President of JHR & Associates, consultants to traditional media, interactive media, communications and entertainment companies.

Previously, he was a Managing Director with Veronis, Suhler & Associates, a merchant banking firm, for four years. Prior to VSA, Mr. Rosenfield was Chairman and CEO of John Blair Communications, Inc., a company he acquired in 1987 with Saratoga Partners/Dillon Reed, and SIFCORP, London, England, as financial partners. Blair Television is a leading national sales representative for 134 television stations and Blair Entertainment produced and distributed syndicated programs. The company was sold to Petry Inc. in 1994.

Earlier, Mr. Rosenfield had a long and distinguished career at CBS. When he left CBS in 1985, he had attained the position of CBS/Broadcast Group Senior Executive Vice President, responsible for all the network’s broadcast activities. Mr. Rosenfeld also worked on creating a DBS consortium with Comsat and other strategic partners, and was involved in the development of Teletext and videotext, which led to a consortium with Sears and IBM that created the first online transaction service, Prodigy.
