Since 2005, Mr. Sheehan has been the Vice President, Products & Marketing, and a member of the founding team of Attributor, Inc., an early stage venture developing a platform that will allow media publishers to monitor and collect licensing fees from the syndication of their content anywhere on the web. The company is backed by Sigma Partners, Selby Ventures, Draper Richards, First Round Capital and Amicus.
From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Sheehan was the Senior Vice President & General Manager at Yodlee, Inc., where he led the design and definition of the company's products and services and engineered its turnaround. Yodlee is backed by Warburg Pincus.
From 1999 to 2002, Mr. Sheehan was a Director at Yahoo! where, as General Manager of Yahoo! Finance, he led its overall strategy and product development and grew it into for the most popular finance site on the Internet, and later as Director of Yahoo! Broadband, he created and implemented Yahoo!'s virtual ISP strategy with partners such as SBC and Verizon.
Previously, Mr. Sheehan was the Senior Manager of Product Management for E*TRADE's US Web site, a Senior Producer at Starwave's ESPN.com and a Manager of Application Development at Fannie Mae.
Mr. Sheehan holds an M.S. in Information Management from Marymount University's Business School and a Bachelor of Arts from James Madison University.
Mr. Sheehan is the recipient of numerous awards, including a Webby Award for Best Finance Site in 2002 and 2001 (for Yahoo! Finance) and a Wired Award for Best Finance Site in 1999 (for E*Trade) and ranked #3 in 2001 (and #5 in 2000) among "Most Influential Executives in eFinance" in Institutional Investor Magazine.
